Tacoma Music Collaborative's Chamber Music Festival
Congratulations to all my students who participated in the Tacoma Music Collaborative's Chamber Music Festival. Both did an outstanding job working with professional musicians and performing their pieces. Way to go! If any student is interested in participating in future performances or attending free masterclasses, please check out TMC's website HERE and contact the studio for registration information.
Music Artistry Program
Through the WSMTA, my students have the opportunity to participate in the Music Artistry Program (MAP), an annual event in which students statewide perform in studio masterclasses and receive one-on-one coaching by Visiting Artists in a positive, noncompetitive learning environment. Students receive a Certificate of Excellence for participating. MAP takes place in March.

Music Achievement Award Program
|
The purpose of MTNA's Music Achievement Award Program is to help encourage ALL the students in the teacher's studio, especially the "everyday" students, to continue their music study and to strive to achieve goals that will not only help them become better musicians, but also will enhance their love and appreciation of music. The teacher sets goals that are both realistic and attainable for each individual student according to the student's needs, ability and motivational level. The student achieves the goals over a specified period of time. There is a prize awarded at the Spring Recital for participation in this program.
