 I'm looking forward to soaking up some remaining sun rays before lessons start again, but I'm really looking forward to this studio year. I have some fun projects coming up this year for the Washington State Music Teachers Association (WSMTA), and I'm hoping to incorporate some new opportunities for student achievement this year. Through the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), they have the Music Achievement Program and Student Study Award certificates that I'll be implementing. Also, I'm putting together Student Reports to be handed out at the end of each session. My goal is to keep parents more informed of student progress and preparation for upcoming recitals. I'm very much hoping to bring back our student-led recital at Christmas time. Fingers crossed for a healthy winter season. I hope to see everyone soon. Please check the various pages on the website for updated information. Also, just a heads up, we got a new addition to our home this past month.
