Summer Comes to a Close

What an eventful summer! As most of my students know, I've been taking summers off of piano teaching to attend a Graduate program for Children's Book Writing and Illustration. Here is some artwork from this summer. 

I will be continuing my studies through the Fall and Spring Semesters. I'm trying to balance school and work. Wish me luck! I'm still hoping to offer opportunities for my students to participate in the Tacoma Music Collaborative, the Music Artistry Program and the Music Achievement Award Program. I'm stepping back from some of my responsibilities with the Washington State Music Association's Tacoma Chapter, but my students can still participate in the performance opportunities provided by this wonderful association.
Despite the busyness of the summer, I am looking forward to getting back to teaching. I can't wait to see how all my students have grown!
